Telehealth brings no hassle, confidential care right where you are.

So what is telehealth?

Telehealth provides you an online appointment with one of our providers. You do not need to come into the Contraceptive Choice Center for a telehealth visit. Instead, you and your provider connect from wherever you are through your smartphone or computer.

We offer contraceptive counseling to learn about birth control methods and clinical appointments to determine which method is right for you. C3 also offers the convenience of mailing birth control refills.

What Do I Need for a Telehealth Visit?

A smartphone or computer with working video, sound, and a reliable internet connection.

Insurance and Payment

We accept Medicaid and most commercial plans. If you are uninsured or if your insurance does not cover birth control, you may qualify for free or low-cost services through The Right Time. We have trained staff to help answer your questions and walk you through your options.

Getting Ready for Your Telehealth Visit

Your telehealth appointment link will be sent via MyChart. MyChart will allow you to communicate with your provider, see results, request appointments, and more.  If you are new to MyChart you will receive an activation code from our office. Visit MyPatientChart.org and click Have An Activation Code? Enter the code. Your code expires 90 days from date of issue. Follow the instructions to activate your account.

There are also some questions to consider when preparing for your telehealth visit:

  • Will you be able to find a private place for the appointment? If not, think about possibilities for private locations in your home, car, or at a friend’s house.
  • Do you know how to communicate privately with your doctor if you do not want others to hear the conversation? You may have other options, including a MyChart message and the chat feature of the virtual platform. This can help if you are worried about your personal safety or other people hearing your appointment.
